To celebrate the launch of Honda’s BTCC team for 2010, Honda (UK) have unleashed an enhanced limited edition Civic Type R featuring exclusive MUGEN equipment, the 2011 Honda Civic Type R MUGEN 200 Limited Edition. This limited edition Type R continues the association between Honda (UK) and the Northampton-based subsidiary of Honda’s tuning partner MUGEN.

The standard features of the Swindon-built Type R (which include Honda’s 201PS, screaming i-VTEC engine), the MUGEN 200 will boast the exclusive MUGEN front and rear bumpers with skirts, 19-inch alloy wheels in ‘Lightning’ design, MUGEN rear badge, MUGEN Limited Edition number plaque, Limited Slip Differential, Championship White exterior paint, and gloss black door mirrors.

Inspired by MUGEN Euro’s high-performance Type R, the MUGEN 200 is also fitted with unique body parts, wheels and badges. In addition, to further enhance the chassis dynamics of the Type R, a range of tuning parts will also be available as dealer fit options.

Honda Civic Type R MUGEN 200 Limited Edition will go on sale through Honda dealers in the UK in April. As its name suggests, only 200 of the special Type R models will be made. The order bank for the MUGEN 200 will open in March and by then, prices will also be announced.

the front is sexy, the back is ugly as hell. I bet the car has less than 200hp and its heavy as hell. JAPAN, you can do better

  2. Turker says:

The base engine power is 201 HP and I bet this modified version isn’t less than 300 HP. Base car weight is 1273 kgs is lighter than an Subaru STI (1.505 kgs/221 HP). Ugly back is your opinion but I think its very well fitted the concept. And lastly please make a search and check out the technical specs before making a comment.

  3. JJ says:

i think the car is awesome and different is like the front of a civic and the back of a 2010-CRZ very good combination. make the car look more agressive than a regular civic. i mean everybody has their own taste.. so dont hate appreciate.

  4. Joey305 says:

So what who cares about a another car not coming to the U.S thanks for nothing japan, AMERICAN MUSCLE is better anyway Right hand drive is retarded and whoever likes it is retarded too.

  5. Joey305 says:

It’s never coming to AMERICA so get over it I’ve wanted a Civic type-r since 96 and every year they send us pics and specs but no car to buy you have to waste a fortune buying all the parts and put them on a base model to have a look a like that’s no where near the orignal F**K YOU honda stick your type-r up your **s because my 645hp supercharged SRT-8 Jeep AWD runnig 10.60 in the 1/4 mile daily driven will blow the doors off that piece of S**t.. AMERICAN MUSCLE MOPAR can never be beat

  6. Luis says:
