Set to arrive at U.S. dealerships in late 2010, the new Audi A8 make its debut on the market with strong 4.2 FSI V8 engine with 273 kW (372 hp) with 0-100km/h (62 mph) arrives in 5.7 seconds. The standard transmission is an all-new 8-speed tiptronic as standard coupled to the latest generation quattro all wheel drive as standard. The engine affords increased power and torque, but Audi is claiming the fuel consumption has dropped by around 15 percent, thanks to intelligent and efficient technologies like the recuperation system and innovative thermal management.

When it comes to convenience, the new A8 impresses with its electrical fold-in exterior mirrors, the versatile and electrically adjustable front seats, the two-zone automatic air conditioning system, the electrical adjustment of the steering
column with easy exit function, the ambient lighting, the electro-mechanical parking brake and the start-stop button.

The all-new 2011 model year A8 will go on sale in the U.S. in late 2010. (simultaneous with the Audi A8 LWB version, which will be announced to the public by mid 2010). The Audi A8 will be built in Neckarsulm, Baden Wuertemberg, Germany. This is the same location where the Audi R8, Audi A6, and Audi A5 / Audi S5 Cabriolet are manufactured.
